Keeping it Local: A Collaboration Project (6:Final Part)

Updated: May 6, 2021

Last we left off, I was telling you all about Pearl, Lisa and their amazing products and service they offer. Now we are on the final part of our collaboration project and we are going to shine the spotlight on Floor Coverings International East and Article Living both of which had a small part in our project.

Guy and I have been working with Josh Nolan at Floor Coverings International East for quite some time. The earliest memory I have personally, would be when we visited one of the Home shows here in Ottawa to support Josh. This was with our first born, who was only a couple weeks old at the time (She's 4 now.. not sure how that happened). Josh has always been an incredible flooring rep for us. He is always there with the next best product he has for our projects and is always ready to help us find what were envisioning. This was especially true when it came to our own flooring for our laundry room. We knew what we wanted and couldn't find it anywhere.. that never stops Josh. Our partnership has only evolved in the time we've known each other and we have some big things planned together for this coming year, so make sure to keep an eye out on our Instagram.

We also partnered with Marina at Article Living. She offered a curated collection of interior decor. I first reached out to her because I was in love with her wooden bead garlands and dispenser bottle collection + the fact that she was in Canada! Things grew from there when they launched their concrete trays this past summer. I really encourage anyone reading this to check out her Etsy shop and support Canadian if you can. She helped us with our very first giveaway and then this flatlay project. We cant wait to see what 2021 has in store for her and the new and gorgeous products she will be offering.

I cannot believe that our collaboration project is over! We want to say a HUGE thank you to all of the partners and vendors who made this possible. To all of you how are important parts of our business and helping it run smoothly. We cant stress enough how important it is to support local, especially now and we hope that this project helped to encourage that. From a little idea I pitched to Hilary.. to a 6 part blog series with stunningly photographed flat lays. This was such a fun and exciting project that I really don't want to end. Luckily, we have already started talking about another round in the new year! Make sure you are following along so you don't miss it.

Happy thanksgiving to our followers in the US and a safe holiday season to all.
